Mission for Children's Health Africa is currently working on a number of different projects as we continue to grow as a ministry. At the moment we are raising funds and preparing to build a children's home and medical clinic in Ghana, as well as flying children to the U.S. for free medical treatment and returning them to their families.

We are also arranging to bring a team of doctors from the U.S. to Ghana so that they can provide medical care for some of the children in the villages. Our various projects are all undertaken with the common goal of providing aid to medically needy children in a way that will impact their life for the glory of God.

Children who grow up in poverty have firsthand experience no classroom could ever teach. Armed with the knowledge of God, these children become the adults who prove the most creative and effective in leading their communities in powerful solutions to the challenges presented by poverty.

We are currently making arrangements to bring a team of doctors to Ghana from the U.S. in order to treat a number of children with hernias in their own villages. We are also continuing to bring children to the U.S. for free medical treatment. Over the past two years we have established a good relationship with the U.S. embassy in Ghana, and with Delta airlines, which has made it easier to arrange for children to come to the U.S. for care. The costs involved are still considerable however, and the deciding factor for how soon children are able to receive treatment is often raising funds for the children's airfare. Bringing doctors to Ghana is a more efficient means of providing health care to the children but due to the complex nature of some of the medical conditions, there will continue to be a need for some children to receive treatment in the U.S.

God has brought us far and we have seen His faithfulness many times, so we look forward to seeing what work He will do through Mission for Children's Health Africa in near future.
