Future Projects and Efforts

In addition to our current projects, we are developing our ministry in order to provide more support to the children we help and their communities. Our various projects are all undertaken with the common goal of providing aid to medically needy children in a way that will impact their life for the glory of God. As we continue to develop we want to continue our support to these children as they grow older. We want to monitor their health, encourage their education, and provide discipleship in the Word of God so that these children will be able to reach their full potential in life.

One of our central projects is the development of the children's home and health clinic in Northern Ghana (sub of Tamale). At the moment we are working to raise funds for the construction of a children's home, a health clinic, and a school on the land; to serve as a permanent headquarters for MCHA.

The children's home has become crucial for allowing us to continue to help children receive medical treatment, because a number of the children come from families that are unable to provide the care needed, due to poverty and the children's medical conditions, while other children are orphans. We hope to provide for these children a good home and education. Along with the home and school, we hope to construct a health clinic so that doctors can volunteer and provide free health care to people in Ghana.

As we continue our current projects we also aspire to become more involved in the communities of the children that we help. There is one community in particular, that the only outside aid they have received has been when we brought a child from the community to the U.S. for free medical care. This community lacks a school, a church, and even decent drinking water, and things we would like to see this community attain.

We have had the opportunity to speak at some of the schools in the area and have seen a great hunger for Christ in the children, and we would like to reach out to these children and become involved in their lives. God has brought us far and we have seen His faithfulness many times, so we look forward to seeing what work He will do through MCHA in near future.

The Mandate and Method for Ministry to the Poor

Jesus told his followers that poor would always be among us He also made it clear that must do what we can to aid them in accordance with Deuteronomy 15:11:for the poor will never cease to be in the land therefore I command you saying you shall freely open your hand to your brother to your needy and poor in your land.

Poverty is a complex issue it has never been simply a lack of things in fact dealing with poverty demands a perspective that goes beyond mere economic matters straight to issues of the heart we know that poverty strike at many levels and in several ways.

As Christians the staff of MCHA believe that ministry to the poor must address a complete range of concerns that face each of us.
